Hi, not sure my previous post went thru, if this is a double, my apologies. I am an rpcv who lived in Tabligo in the early 1980s. I was browing through your site, admiring the photos, and wondering why these photos of Togo looked more familiar than others. I hadn't read the text, so when it finally registered it was Tabligbo, well...you can imagine. I didn't take my photos while there (I have about five of one festival, that's it!). I would truly love it if you were able to take photos of the town/area and post them. I know I am a stranger and shouldn't be asking, but I really would love to see Tabligbo again! I will keep looking.
Joe and I are from Wyandotte, MI, a suburb of Detroit. We've been married since 2002, but have been together since about 1994. Joe has a BA in International Studies, and I have a BA in English and an MS in Health Psychology. Before our Peace Corps experience in Togo, Joe was a diesel mechanic and owned his own road call business and I worked at a social science data archive at the University of Michigan (hi ICPSR!).

I hope you have as much fun as I did.
